Tell me about your condo
The complex was built in the early 1970s and there are only 60 units in Ten Mile Island. It is soundly built and noise is never a problem. The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna are unusual finds in Frisco. We have changed carpeting, painted and replaced appliances and furniture to keep it current, and make it a great and cozy family space. Chris, the manager, does a great job landscaping the grounds. Property for sale never lasts long there and we are all very happy with the friendly environment in our mountain complex.

Where exactly are you located in Frisco?
We are located on the west end (Second Frisco exit off I-70) and a short block off Main Street. The area is highly treed and very quiet. No traffic jams. Yet we are close enough to walk to town, restaurants, the Marina or catch the shuttle just a few blocks away to any sites in Summit County. The Alpine Natural Grocery Store is a landmark and ½ block away. Check out its great deli.

Why Frisco?
Frisco is a well kept secret in Summit County, probably because it is not named after a ski area. It has a small town feel and friendly people. Skiing is accessible yet Frisco does not have the traffic challenges that other resorts face. There are great restaurants and shops on Main Street, quiet treed complexes like Ten Mile Island, charming street art, and a great lake to enjoy year round. Are your rates firm?
We work hard to keep our rates very competitive and reasonable for families, especially for weekly stays. We give almost a 30% discount for weekly stays, in addition to our low rates. If you compare our rates with similar bed space at a hotel, you will find our fully equipped condo offers great rates and the ability to avoid the expenses of eating out. That said, we have been known to make special pricing accommodations, especially if it is within a few weeks of the booking date.

What if we have a problem needing attention in the condo while there?
We live in Denver so are often times just a phone call away. We also have arranged for a local handyman to assist if you need quick help. We have extra supplies of batteries, light bulbs and cleaning supplies in the condo for minor problems. If in doubt, call.

How many people can stay there comfortably?
We have beds for up to 6 but discourage long term stays for groups larger than 4. We stay there ourselves enough and know that space is important. The large dining area, which is a third bedroom in many other condos, makes the living areas very open and comfortable.
