• Bicycling around town or to Breckenridge, Vail Pass. Bike paths are threaded throughout the county…. And the reward of going up is coming down very fast.

• Wandering down Main Street and enjoying the coffee, funky stores, and people watching. For heavy lift shopping, go to the Silverthorne outlet shops.

• Biking or driving to Borders for coffee and the Sunday New York Times- take the Dam road over to Dillon as an alternative to the highway.

• Cross country skiing, snowshoeing or playing frisbee (disc) golf on the Frisco Peninsula

• Fly fishing on the Blue River

• Local great restaurants like:
  • • Butterhorn Bakery on Main Street or Sunshine Café in Silverthorne on a lazy Saturday morning
  • • Log Cabin Café or Blue Spruce Inn, just a few blocks away, for a great brunch
  • • The Mint Steakhouse in Silverthorne if you yearn for red meat
  • • Brew pubs anywhere.

• Wandering through Frisco Historic Park and Museum on Main Street, imaging the life of early miners in Summit County. Also great sculptures.

• The view from Swan Mountain Road anytime (its worth the short hike)

• Boating of any kind on Dillon Reservoir

• Sitting by the stream in back with wine and good company (chairs and table in bedroom closet)
