Frisco is an easy scenic drive through the Colorado Rocky Mountains, approximately 95 minutes from Denver International Airport.

Serving as a favored Ute Indian camp for nearly 7,000 years, the town of Frisco quickly expanded during the late 19th century gold and silver mining boom when it was named by European settlers. With easy access to Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain ski areas, Frisco became a popular locale for visiting skiers post-World War II. Among other recreational activities offered by the town are bicycling, mountain biking, sailing, hiking and fishing.

Breckenridge, just down the road from Frisco on Hwy. 9, offers access to several golf courses, scenic jeep and historic tours, and an alpine slide in the summer. The Breckenridge Film Festival, Arts Festival and Oktoberfest are other attractions.
